Listed is a breakdown of the tuition costs and fees associated with each class as well as payment plan options.

Registration Fee

There is a $45 fee per student due at registration.
Maximum registration fee per family is $90.

Class Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are based on classes from January – June. Prices are subject to change.

Costume Fees

At GDC we are transitioning to a Costume Rental program for the majority of classes. This helps us to keep costs to a minimum for families as well as create a more environmentally conscious costume program. Some classes each season will still need to purchase costumes if a suitable rental option is not available.

Youth & Family

Discounts

We are pleased to offer discounts for students or families the have enrolled for multiple classes. Please note that discounts are for youth classes only and can be shared amongst siblings. Adult classes do not count towards youth discount rates (Adult Class Discount info is available on the Adult Class Schedule page).
  • Discounts do not include Competition Classes, Solo’s, Duo’s, Trio’s or Youth Company Classes.
  • All recreational & technique classes are eligible for discounts.

Discounts & Withdrawal: Discounts are dependent on a full season commitment, withdrawal mid-season will result in a refund for any fees paid after withdrawal date, minus the discount from season start. After the first 2 weeks of classes, a minimum of a half season commitment is required unless a doctors note is provided for a medical withdrawal.

These options are available for: Monthly, Half Season and Full Season payment schedules.

Monthly Payment Plans are available at the office staff’s discretion.

Default Option

4 Installments (Sept 1st/15th, Dec 1st /15th, Feb 1st /15th, April 1st/15th)


All accounts will be automatically signed up for quarterly payments unless you request otherwise.

Alternate Option

Monthly = 10 total installments (Sept 1st / 15th - June 1st /15th)
Half Season = 2 total installments (Sept 1st/15th & Feb 1st/15th)
Full Season = 1 installment (Sept 15th)

Monthly payment plans are subject to a 5% surcharge (included in pricing below).

Payment Methods

Option 1 - Automatic Debit Withdrawls

Payments will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account.  Client is responsible to monitor with drawls are being deducted.
Available for: Monthly, Half Season or Full Season payments

Option 2 - Credit Card Auto Pay

Payments will be automatically withdrawn from your credit card.  Client is responsible to monitor with drawls are being deducted in the Parent Portal.  Credit Card payment have a 3.4% (+$0.15) per transaction.​

Option 3 - E-Transfer Payment

Send E-transfers to: gibsonsdancecentre@gmail.com. No password necessary, the account is set up for auto deposit.
Available for: Half Season or Full Season payments

Option 4 - Post Dated Cheques or Cash

Cheques: Mail to: GDC Office, 993 North Rd, Gibsons, BC, V0N1V7 OR Drop off to Office @ 1051 Gibsons Way
Cash: ONLY accepted in person to Office @ 1051 Gibsons Way.
Available for: Half Season or Full Season payments

Overdue accounts will be subject to a late fee of 12% per month on outstanding fee’s or payment plan arrangement.
